Middle East-based militant Islamic State (IS) has claimed responsibility for suicide bombs and gun attacks in the burial ground of Iranian parliament and revolutionary founder of Ruhullah Khomeini.
At least seven people were killed in an attack by IS in two highly sensitive areas of the country on Wednesday.IS controlled news agency 'Amak' has reported responsibility for the assault of the Iranian parliament and the revolutionary founder of Ruhullah Khomeini in the burial ground.The country's semi-official ISNA says four gunmen attacked the parliament building in Tehran with rifles and pistols. An attacker on the fourth floor of the building blown himself up in a suicide blast. The ISNA reported the deaths of three people in the attack.Amak said Islamic State fighters took part in the attack on Khomeini's grave and Iranian parliament. According to another statement of IS, Amak said two suicide bombers attacked the site of Khomeini's grave.
