BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the death of former Chief Justice and Chief Adviser of caretaker government Latifur Rahman.
In a message of condolence, the BNP chairperson said that former Chief Justice late Latifur Rahman has worked relentlessly in his judicial life to ensure the respect and dignity and justice of the rule of law. The countrymen will remember his fame as an upright judge of the country. His neutrality and administrative expertise as the Chief Advisor of the former caretaker government too was unparallel. His death caused irreparable damage to the nation. Like the people of the country, I was deeply shocked at the death of Latifur Rahman.Khaleda Zia prayed for the forgiveness of Latifur Rahman's departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to his bereaved family, relatives, thankful and well-wishers.
