53 projects for rail development:Railway minister in parliament

In the revised Annual Development Program (RADP) of 2016-17 fiscal year, approved for 53 projects has been allocated Tk 978 crore. The projects are being implemented quickly. As a result, Bangladesh Railway is becoming more modern.The minister said this in response to the question of lawmaker MA Malek (Dhaka-20) in the Parliament on Monday.He said that Bangladesh Railway is a service agency. The government is working to provide safe and easy transport services at low cost to the people of the country. Being a government investment in this sector during BNP-Jamaate period, it became a weak organization. After the formation of Awami League government in 2019, the government has been working with the highest importance of this sector to make Bangladesh Railway as modern, timely, affordable, reliable and public transport.
