National Safe Road Day on 22nd October

The decision was taken at a cabinet meeting chaired by the Prime Minister on Monday. Cabinet Secretary Mohammad Shafiul Alam told reporters after the meeting.On 22nd October, the demand for the announcement of 'National Secure Roads Day' has long been demanding the safe road (NISCA) organization. It has been demanding the approval of the cabinet and publication in the form of gazette by the announcement of the day.On 22 October 1993, Jahanara Kanchan, wife of Ilias Kanchan, was killed in a road accident. After that, Ilias Kanchan started the movement demanding safe road and at one point Nisscha was formed.The organization has been demanding declaration from 1998 to 22 October as National Safer Road Day.
