More than 100 countries around the world are observed as 'World Environment Day'.Like other countries of the world, various organizations of public and private organizations will conduct various programs on the occasion of World Environment Day in Bangladesh.This year, the theme of the day has been determined, 'The bond of nature, the bond of nature' and the slogan on the occasion of the day has been determined 'I am nature, nature is mine'.President on the occasion of the day. Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina gave separate statements.Environment and Forests Ministry has taken detailed programs on the occasion of World Environment Day. Memorials and rituals will be published from the Department of Environment and Forest Department. Various programs will be organized in all the district and upazila levels and in every educational institute on the occasion of World Environment Day, including discussion, rally, painting competition.Meanwhile, arrangements have been made to celebrate Environment Day in 100 public private educational institutions in Dhaka city. Public awareness information on the environment will be disseminated through the district information office at the field level.
