All residential halls of Jahangirnagar University (JU) opened on 8 June.
The decision was made at an emergency syndicate meeting on Saturday noon. Registrar Abu Bakar Siddiq confirmed the information.He said that on 8th June the school exam will start on 7th July. Apart from this, other decisions include acceptance of the demands of students on the construction of Speed Breaker and Foot Overbridge and compensation of the families of the deceased on 8 June. Law adviser will decide on the withdrawal of students case.Apart from this, CC cameras will be installed in various gateways from University of Bishmil. The police will be deployed at different points when the campus opens.
