Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith called the budget for the financial year 2017-18 as the best budget of his life.
The Finance Minister said this at a post-budget press conference in the city's Osmani Memorial Auditorium on Friday. He presented the budget of Tk 4,266 crore in the National Parliament on Thursday.The Finance Minister said that ''It seems, now I have given the best budget of my life. I have suffered a lot for this. The administration has hardened me like I do''.He said-''I said in the speech that every budget is ambitious. There is no budget that has lesser than previous times. We have done this very well. In this way, I am taking the country to a better place''.
