Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith has proposed to allocate Tk 1,17 crore for the welfare of disabled people in the budget for the next fiscal year 2017-18.
In this allocated sense, a research center will be established in every divisional town of the country for the benefit of the disabled.He proposed this in the budget of the fiscal year 2017-18 in the parliament on Thursday.The Finance Minister said various activities were taken for the welfare of the disabled. A total of 177 million allocations have been proposed for this fiscal year; 31 percent more than the allocation for the current fiscal year.
