Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Aashaduzzaman Mia said that-''during the Ramadan, the police are working round-the-clock in the security of the city''.
He said these words of DMP at Iftar and Doa Mahfil at the Police Convention Center On Wednesday evening.DMP commissioner said that as the largest and important unit of Bangladesh Police, DMP has set a unique example in competence and professionalism. Peace has been established in the capital with strict control of terrorists and militants.Dhaka Metropolitan Police has taken all the security measures during Ramadan, he said.Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, Shipping Minister Shajahan Khan, Food Minister Kamrul Islam, DB joint commissioner Abdul Baten, deputy commissioner (media) Masudur Rahman and senior police officials were present on the occasion.
