Tobacco should be banned:Information Minister

He said this while addressing a discussion organized by the Anti-Narcotics and Insecticide Organization (Manas) on the occasion of the World No-Smoke Day in Poet Sufia Kamal auditorium of National Museum in the capital.Information Minister said, the use of tobacco products is harmful to mental, physical, financial, family, social and professional. Not only tobacco entertainment, but a healthy life and development barrier. It should be banned and as long as it is not there, tax on tobacco cultivation and business will be increased.He urged women to lead the country by going forward with the mantra to create a tobacco-free country by 2040.
