A defamation suit has been filed against the Ganajagaran Mancha spokesman Imran H Sarkar in the Dhaka CMM court.
The BCL central committee on Education and Textual Affairs Secretary Golam Rabbani filed the case against the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on the slogan of "objectionable" slogans from the procession protesting the removal of sculpture from the Supreme Court premises.Four people have been witnesses in the case. Among them, there is one named Sanatan Ullah.Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate SM Masud Zaman issued summons to Imran H Sarker to appear before the court on 16 July after taking the plaintiff's statement.Golam Rabbani's lawyer Noman Hossain Talukder told the information.
