Asian Development Bank (ADB) has expressed interest in providing financial support for setting up five specialized universities including hi-tech agriculture, marine and textile in Bangladesh.
Sushup Roy, South Asia Regional Director of Human Resource Development and Social Development Department, expressed this interest during the meeting with Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid at the Secretariat on Monday.At the time, ADB had three more members. They are ASG Senior Social Sector Specialist Aasu Tazima, Senior Social Sector Officer SM Ebadur Rahman and Social Sector Specialist Raatoro Hayashi.
