Parliament Speaker Dr.Viswanathan Ambassador to Bangladesh, Trent Van Khovar, met with Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury in Dhaka.
They meet at the speaker's office on Sunday. The information was provided in the press release of the Jatiya Sangsad Secretariat.During the meeting, they discussed the activities related to bilateral interests, women empowerment and gender equality in their respective countries and parliamentary system.The speaker said, Bangladesh is the friendly state of Bangladesh.Expressing his gratitude to the Vietnamese government as recognition of Bangladesh as an independent state in 1971, the Speaker expressed his gratitude to the government of Vietnam.
