Joint Border Conference of India held in Chittagong Chittagong Divisional Commissioner inaugurated the conference.
The border conference was held on Thursday at the conference room of the circuit house. Deputy Commissioner of Chittagong on behalf of Bangladesh Samsul Arefin and DM and collector of Gomati district of Tripura on behalf of India, Raval Hameed Kumar Kumar.In the conference, detailed discussions on repatriation of border crimes related to the two countries, development of tourism sector, ease of travel between the two countries on national festivals, water sharing of Feni, prevention of smuggling, opening of border haats in Fatikchari and establishment of customs and police checkpost.
