After implementing the eighth pay structure for the government employees, the government government Primary School Teachers Association demanded to remove the discrimination caused to the head teachers of the government primary schools.
In response, the Finance Minister made the committee's assurance of review.The leaders of the association called on the Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith in the meeting held on Monday in the finance ministry conference room. Primary and Mass Education Minister Mustafizur Rahman Fizar, Finance Secretary Hedayetullah Al Mamun, Acting Secretary of Primary and Mass Education Ministry Mohammad Asif-Uz-Zaman were also present in the meeting.The meeting was attended by the executive president of the association Wechh Ahmed Chowdhury and general secretary Aminul Islam Chowdhury.
