The High Court has suspended the proceedings of two cases filed against BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia in connection with the bus firing.
Justice said on Sunday. The Bench stayed the adjournment of the High Court comprising Mifatah Uddin Chowdhury and Justice ANM Basir Ullah.Senior lawyer AJ Mohammad Ali, Barrister Mahbub Uddin Khokan, Barrister Kaiser Kamal and Barrister Kaiser Kamal argued for Khaleda Zia in the court. Deputy attorney general Sheikh AKM Moniruzzaman Kabir was present in the state.
Later, Deputy Attorney General Sheikh AKM Moniruzzaman Kabir said, the appeal will be filed against the stay order of the High Court.
