Bangladesh and India have reiterated their promise of strengthening the zero tolerance policy against terrorism and militancy, besides creating crime free and peaceful borders.
They pledged their commitment during Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Saturday.In a statement after the official meeting with the Prime Minister of India, Sheikh Hasina said both are committed to 'zero tolerance' against terrorism and militancy as well as to create crime free and peaceful borders. He said that the two Prime Ministers discussed the issue of water sharing of common rivers like Teesta, Padma-Ganges Barrage project and river basin based river basin management issues.
