3 to 17 people suffering from depression in the country. 4.6 percent of adults in Bangladesh are suffering from this disease.On April 7, the Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammad Nasim told a press conference on Wednesday in the Secretariat on the occasion of World Health Day.Mohammad Nasim said, according to the National Mental Health Institute and World Health Organization survey, 4.6 percent of adults in Bangladesh are depressed. Not just adults, it can also be seen in people of any age, even in children. However, symptoms of depression are released for the first time in 30 to 40 years of age. Between 15 to 18 years of age and 60 years of age, the risk is slightly higher.
