BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has said that the Inter Parliamentary Union (IPU) conference held in the capital is nothing but a farce.
He made this comment at a news conference in the capital's Nayapaltan central office on Monday noon.Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said, "I congratulate the people of the world who joined the session on behalf of BNP."He said, 'The country's parliament does not represent the people, demolished democratic institutions. People's plight of the people's liberation, murder, disappearance, arrest and false cases are nothing but a pretext for the IPU conference.
