Former President and Jatiya Party Chairman Hussein Muhammad Ershad has expressed the hope that the Awami League and the Jatiya Party will play the country in future.
He said this at a function in Madaripur on Monday afternoon as the chief guest.Hussein Muhammad Ershad said, "We were out of power for 26 years. Although poor but lacked in love. We do not want to be involved in any other team. We want, the Awami League and we will run the country together. There will be no communalism, love will prevail and the country will continue to progress.Prime Minister's Special Envoy Hussein Muhammad Ershad on the issue of military treaty with India, said, "The Prime Minister will not make any such agreement which is reprehensible for the country."
