Indian army chief General Bipin Rawat, who visited Bangladesh in court, has paid a courtesy call on the Chief of Army Staff General Abu Belal Mohammad Shafiul Haque.
This meeting was held at Army headquarters in Dhaka Cantonment at 8:10 am on Saturday.General Bipin Rawat and his wife and four-member delegation came to Bangladesh on Friday for a three-day visit at the invitation of Bangladesh Army Chief at 9am on Friday. This is his first foreign visit since Bipin Rawat became the army chief.Prior to the courtesy visit, the Indian army chief presented wreaths at Shikha Anirban in Dhaka Cantonment and paid tribute to the martyrs of Bangladesh's liberation war. Then a good team of Bangladesh Army gave him a guard of honor in Senakunja in the Dhaka Cantonment.
