Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) 136th Conference has started in Bangladesh.
The conference began at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center in the capital on Saturday morning, through a discussion titled 'Forum of Women Parliamentary' in women empowerment. But the conference will be officially inaugurated in the evening.Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the five-day conference at the South Plaza of the National Parliament House at 7:30 pm. During this time, he will inaugurate the memorandum stamp and inaugurate the IPU WebTV.
