Bangladesh Parliament Speaker and 136th IPU Assembly President Dr. Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury said that the organizing of this year's IPU Assembly has brightened the dignity and image of Bangladesh.
The Milan Mela held a unique height of Bangladesh from different parts of the world and the representatives of the delegates from different parts of the world.He said these during the meeting of Japan, Belarus and Cuban delegation chief who came to the assembly in the Speaker's own office on Saturday. The information was released in a press release from the Parliament Secretariat.Dr. Shirin Sharmin said that the IPU is proud to organize such a big assembly in Bangladesh. Hopefully every member of the Assembly delegation will enjoy the events and will participate in the Assembly activities spontaneously.
