Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has said security measures have been strengthened in the capital around the Inter Parliamentary Union (IPU) conference.
After the inspection of the IPU conference room and security system in South Plaza of the Jatiya Sangsad on Saturday, he told the reporter.He said-Since there will be 1,400 foreign guests here, the entire Dhaka including the Parliament area has been covered in the security cover. Security has been strengthened throughout Dhaka.He said, 'Foreigners can come safely from their habitat to the venue and they can go wherever they want to go, I have arranged for me. The arrangements have been made that they can move in time. We think that the programs that will be held in South Plaza and BIS will be done fairly.
