Inspector General of Police AKM Shahidul Haque said that six thousand members of law and order will work in the security of the Inter Parliamentary Union (IPU) conference.
He told reporters after visiting the IPU conference venue and security arrangements in South Plaza of the National Parliament on Saturday.Shahidul Haque said, adequate security measures have been taken for foreign guests. To avoid any unpleasant incidents, the check post has been increased in the capital. Six thousand members of law and order will work to secure the conference.
