BNP's Standing Committee member Gayeshwar Chandra Roy commented that the victory of the people in the Comilla City Corporation election has been won.
He said, "Many centers of Comilla have captured the votes cast by ruling party leaders. Voters voted in the rice ear after a boat batch after being threatened by their (ruling). It's a silent revolution. If the people could ultimately vote, the difference of votes would be 50 percent more. 'He said this at a discussion meeting organized by the Bangladesh Nationalist Angry People's Party on the occasion of the Greater Independence Day of Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) on Friday.He said, "Teesta agreement is very important for the people of Bangladesh. But the government is not giving any importance to this. The Prime Minister is going to India to make the deal unnecessary. No agreement will be accepted by the people of the country because of abolishing the country's independence and sovereignty.
