Chairman of the University Grants Commission (UGC) Prof Abdul Mannan said that the objective of the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is to increase the quality of the higher education of the country.
Therefore, to maintain the quality of education, he has urged the establishment of the IQA and establishing this section in their respective organizations.He said these as the chief guest while inaugurating a two-day orientation workshop titled 'QA Mechanism for Round-4 Universities' in the UGC Auditorium on Wednesday.UGC chairman urged IQ director and additional directors of the participating universities to ensure the quality of education in their respective institutions, said that our graduates should be created in such a way that they can survive with others in the competitive world.
