The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has banned Pakistani paceman Mohammad Irfan for one year from all forms of cricket for notifying the spot-fixing in the PSL.
On Wednesday, the PCB told Irfan's ban. However, the PCB said in a statement that if Irfan helps in ongoing investigations into corruption in PSL and subsequently no other law breaks, then its ban will be reduced by six months.Last month, in the UAE, PSL was questioned as part of the investigation, Irfan in Islamabad United, Zulfiqar Babar of Karachi Kings and Shahjib Hasan Later on 14 March, the authorities banned Irfan temporarily.
