Around 7 million Internet subscribers in the country

The latest report from Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC), the regulatory body, has come out.According to the February data of BTRC published on Wednesday, the number of internet subscribers in the country is 6.77 million and 45 thousand. BTRC's information shows that most of the Internet users are taking services through mobile phone networks. 6 million 31 lakh 20 thousand subscribers are using the internet through mobile through mobile. Internet service providers (ISPs) and publicly switched telephone networks (PSTN) are 40 lakh 36 thousand internet subscribers. But the number of WiMAX internet subscribers stands at 89 thousand.
