Gaibandha-1 (Sundarganj) constituency by-election, the Awami League candidate Golam Mostafa Ahmed (boat) was the winner.
Declared 109 polling stations in 90 of the 169 votes he got the results of private boat symbol. His nearest rival, the National Party, Barrister Shamim Haider Patwary (plow) received 60 thousand 100 votes.Sundarganj district council hall on Wednesday night at 8 pm by-election Returning Officer GM Uddin confirmed the results privately.Earlier on Wednesday, from 8 am to 4 pm Union 109 polling stations in 15 polling was held peacefully.
