Sylhet City Corporation councilor suspended Farhad Chowdhury Shamim (Ward 6) and the (19th Ward) wants to remain in his office subject to the BNP.
They were protesting the suspension from his position as councilor of Sylhet district and city BNP. Th BNP has said, 'It is a conspiracy to Sylhet City Corporation.These issues have been referred to a joint statement on Friday afternoon Sylhet BNP president Nasim Hossain, Sylhet district BNP president Abul Cayenne Shamim Chowdhury, general secretary of the unit and district unit general secretary Ali Ahmed Selim Badruzzaman.
