The new Election Commission (EC) in response to the formation of the Election Commissioners search committee decided to propose the name of the Awami League.
Monday night house party, a joint meeting of the Central Executive Committee and Advisory Council was decided after a long discussion of the proposal. Awami League President Sheikh Hasina presided over the meeting.According to sources the meeting, the EC responded to the call of the Awami League to form a search committee will send a list of acceptable ones.The Awami League President Sheikh Hasina said-"We, the people themselves will vote for their representatives. It is their constitutional jurisdiction''.A joint meeting of Awami League Central Working Committee and the Advisory Council on 12 February and 6 March and compliance programs are discussed.
