12 per cent of air pollution related deaths in the country are at risk of arsenic Local Government Minister Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain said.
The national parliament on Tuesday afternoon, Mrs. Lutfa Taher (-40 seats), the information minister said in a written response to questions.Local Government Minister, Local Government Division of Public Health Engineering Department 2003, 271 upazilas of the country's 50 million tube wells have arsenic test. That is 9 percent of the 14.5 million tubewells in water levels has found arsenic. After the implementation of the various activities undertaken by the present government is currently 12 per cent of air pollution related deaths are at risk of arsenic.
