Lanka and hosts a total of 7 countries will participate in men's and women's handball teams.Both teams divided into two groups of three venues in section 7 (Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium, Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Indoor Stadium and National Stadium) will compete in a round-robin league basis.The top two teams from each group will play the semi-finals.IHF the next round of the tournament will be held at the tournament champions.
