The World Bank is providing 800 million loan for the development of the education sector. The money will be spent to improve the quality of college education under the
National University. NEC conference room in city's Sher-day Thursday was signed. Signed the agreement on the Economic Relations Division (ERD), Additional Secretary Kazi Shafiqul Azam and on behalf of the World Bank Acting Country Director Zahid Hossain, Dhaka office. Ministry of Education, the National University and the University Grants Commission, the project is going to be implemented. The project period up to June 2021 to 2016 in July. IDA financing for the project debt to be paid in 38 years with a grace period of 6 years. Money raised at the annual debt service charge and zero point zero percent to 75 percent to 50 percent commitment fee.Current long-term commitment fee has been fixed at zero percent.
