Asad Alam Siam is the new ambassador to the Philippines. Public information
statement Sunday (04 September), said.Asad Alam was replaced by Major General John Gomez.Assad is currently serving as the Chief of Protocol, Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Before that, he served as director general of the ministry's European wing.
Asad Alam architecture graduated from the university and the Consul General of Italy in the UK served as the Assistant High Commissioner. He also served in Bangladesh missions in Jakarta and Bangkok.
