Approved the purchase of fertilizer and fuel oil import by seven cabinet committee on public procurement. 5 thousand 183 crore will be spent for the government.
Finance Minister AMA Muhith on Wednesday presided over by Committee members, senior secretary of the Cabinet Division, Prime Minister's principal secretary of the ministry concerned secretaries were present. Approved the proposal to reporters after the meeting highlighted different aspects of Saiful Rahman, Additional Secretary Cabinet Division.He said the meeting at the state level on the basis of the agreement of 60 thousand tons of MOP fertilizer imports from Russia and Canada are two separate proposals have been approved. Russia in Bangladesh Agriculture Development Corporation (BADC) contract to import 30 thousand tons of MOP fertilizer will cost Rs 54 crore 59 lakh 76 thousand. 30 thousand tonnes of fertilizer will be imported from Canada. The price per ton of $ 230 as well as 38 percent of the total cost of Rs 54 crore 60 lakh.
