UNDP Resident Representative in Bangladesh CPA Executive Committee and
Chairperson of the National Assembly Speaker said. Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury made a farewell call.The meeting was held at the office of the Speaker of Parliament on Sunday. Parliament Secretariat press release said.During the meeting, the Sustainable Development Goals, the UNDP-supported projects was also discussed. In the meantime, the development and advancement of the speaker recalled with gratitude the help and cooperation of the UNDP.
The speaker said, "enough progress has been made in social and human development indicators in Bangladesh. Bangladesh is now a role model in the world in achieving the Millennium Development Goals. Bangladesh is now Sustainable Development Goals is working to achieve. We hope that UNDP will assist the country to achieve the goal. "
