Mali gunmen attacked an army base, killing at least 17 soldiers and injured 30 others. The BBC reported on Wednesday, citing officials. According to the BBC report,
the bases were attacked with heavy weapons. The attackers set fire to a part. Two different groups claimed responsibility for the attack. After the attack, a security meeting in Mali's President Ibrahim Katia has been the country's prime minister, defense minister and armed forces commanders were present.
