Bangladesh's garment industry has expressed the opinion that the United Nations will soon topped the world on Trade and Development Agency (UNCTAD) Secretary

General. He said Bangladesh's readymade garment industry paradigm of progress for the country's role in the world. Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu in Kenya during a meeting with visiting Secretary-General of UNCTAD expressed this view. The bilateral meeting was held at the International Convention Centre in  Kenya. Increase the flow of investment and industrialization of the LDCs including Bangladesh to strengthen UNCTAD assistance was discussed. At the time, the emerging leather, plastics, pharmaceutical industry, as well as the import of skilled workers in Kenya, Bangladesh is discussed.
