Paying tributes to Bangabandhu, discussion meetings, processions, balloons and pigeons flying through various programs and national and party flags as well as the
country's traditional political party Bangladesh Awami League, the 67-year anniversary was celebrated throughout the country including the capital on Thursday. To mark the day, with the morning sunrise and the central office of the Awami League party headquarters across national and party flags were hoisted in the anniversary program. In front of the portrait of Bangabandhu at Dhanmondi 3 party leaders and workers of Awami League president Sheikh Hasina, along with national and party flags and releasing pigeons and balloons founding inaugurated the program.
