Food Minister Nuruzzaman Ahmed has been appointed state minister for social welfare.
Cabinet Secretary Mohammad Shafiul Alam said on Sunday afternoon. On September 14 last year, the Social Welfare Minister Syed Mohsin Ali, died in a Singapore hospital. He had been serving as the Ministry of Social Welfare Promod. Then last May 11 for Social Welfare Promod died in a hospital in India.
