Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammad Nasim said, Bangladesh is going to contribute a lot to the eradication of the disease. The day is not far off when the
country will be completely free from malaria. The Secretariat office in Dhaka, Chittagong held at the Institute of Tropical Medicine, World Malaria Day said during the launch of the program. Health Minister Zahid Malik also spoke on the occasion greetings via video conference. The Director General Prof Dr Deen Mohammad Nurul Haque, Director General of Family Planning Wahid Hossain, senior officials of ministries and departments, representatives of the various partners and non-governmental organizations and the city Department of Health and Family Planning senior political leaders and civil society representatives were present.
