The two Russian bomber tried to enter the airspace of Britain, Britain's Royal Air Force Typhoon fighter jets chased the aircraft.
The incident took place on Wednesday.
A spokesman for the Ministry of Defence confirmed, the Russian TU -160 aircraft, Britain's Sky range of moves nearby, even if it did not enter British airspace.
