The English-language daily The Daily Star editor Mahfuz Anam in a defamation case
against the district court today issued an arrest warrant against him. M. Anam recently admitted in a TV show that during the past caretaker government, in his words, "the Prime Minister alleged corruption in the information sent to military intelligence," the magazine printed without any verification "He made a mistake.
