The Rohingya have been living in various districts of the census. Rohingyas who has lived in six districts of Cox's Bazar, Chittagong, Bandarban, Rangamati, Khagrachari
and the census has been at Patuakhali. Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics by the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) assisted the census began in Cox's Bazar on Friday morning.
