The United States reached the historic visit of Pope Francis.
The six-day visit, the 78-year-old Francis Andrews Air Force Base outside Washington after arriving was greeted by President Barack Obama, his wife Michelle and their two daughters. The US Catholic leaders and the hundreds of people waving hands to welcome him to the ground. Washington-area Catholic schools welcome children, the Pope told the students.
