Import and marketing of mobile handset has issued a special alert Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC). The directive was issued on Monday.
Wireless handsets as well as the direction of the regulator's prior approval for any illegal activities related to the import have been told to stay away from. The report also directed disciplinary action would be taken against those involved. Import Policy Order 2012-2015 Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Act and the 2001, according to the regulator's permission to import any type of radio equipment is mandatory.
