The International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the Prime Minister has nominated for the award this year, ICT for sustainable development. Halim is the Secretariat of State
for Telecommunications and Information Technology, said at the weekly cabinet meeting.
Cabinet Secretary Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan said, on 26 September this year, the Prime Minister received the award at a ceremony in New York, one of the minister handed in his request.
