Said Mohammad Darwish, spokesman for the office of Governor of Logar province, two, three policemen and five civilians were killed in the attack. The five policemen were among the injured. In a statement, the Taliban has claimed responsibility for the incident and said the attack was aimed at members of the military and paramilitary forces.
